Dairy-free Avocado Chocolate Mousse


Prep Notes

  • 1-2 large ripe avocados, pitted
  • 1/4 cup raw unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup canned full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 tsp natural vanilla extract
  • 1-2 scoop Collagen peptides
  • Optional extras: toasted sliced almonds, unsweetened coconut flakes, chia seeds, frozen mixed berries, frozen banana, almond or sunflower seed butter, raw cocoa nibs, coconut oil

Ingredients

Purée the avocado until smooth.

Mix together the cocoa powder, http://bit.ly/vitalproteinsbethcollagen peptides and coconut milk until combined and add to the avocado.

Stir in the vanilla extract, and any extra ingredients and mix well.

Note:  When you are not following a sugar detox, you may add 2 tsp. of stevia, monk fruit or other low-carb natural sweetener.

Transfer the mousse to individual bowls and store in the fridge until ready to eat.
